RUSH

RUSH is a Game me and 2 friends developed for the Confetti Game Jam 2022, for this I was responsible for all code, including but not limited to; AI Pathfinding, Car Controls and Gameplay Events. As well as this I also made the Promotional Materials for the game as well as the video to showcase RUSH.

RUSH is a Game me and 2 friends developed for the Confetti Game Jam 2022, for this I was responsible for all code, including but not limited to; AI Pathfinding, Car Controls and Gameplay Events. As well as this I also made the Promotional Materials for the game as well as the video to showcase RUSH. RUSH is our spin on SEGA's Crazy Taxi as a challenge to ourselves, especially since it was done in less than a month. What we wanted to do with this game particularly is make it replay-able, giving it that classic "Arcady" Crazy Taxi feel and I feel we've achieved that, especially with how the car controls.

One thing I would change if I was to do this again would be how the other Car AI works, as a the minute the other cars on the road just swerve and collide with each other, potentially causing them to go out of bounds, while this does add to the chaos factor of RUSH, I'd want it so it doesn't completely break to a point where the other vehicles stop moving.

For this project I was responsible for:
• Visual Scripting (Blueprint)
• AI Creation / Scripting
• Art Direction
• General Direction of the Game
